I love being a Social Worker. I've been practicing Social Work for over a decade and truly believe I would have burned out long ago without having my yoga and meditation practice. These tools are missing from most Social Work programs and I truly believe that if we can get these self-care tools into the hands of more Social Workers, the world would be a better place.
About Becca Odom
Becca Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience. Becca specializes in combining Somatic Approaches with EMDR for trauma recovery. Her passion is to empower others to heal themselves and she specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery and stress management.
She has been offering trainings on Yoga for Trauma and Resiliency nationally for the last 7 years and is passionate about supporting professionals to bring more trauma-informed tools into their clinical practice as well as for their own self-care to prevent burnout.
