Polyvagal Theory in Therapy Training
Therapists interact with survivors of trauma every day and the effects of secondary trauma can have long lasting impacts.
This Polyvagal Theory in Therapy is an asynchronous self-paced training that will support therapists in applying a trauma-informed, polyvagal approach to navigate both personal and professional life challenges to effectively manage burnout. Participants will leave with simple effective tools to help clients and themselves build resilience and emotional regulation skills. The presenter will utilize lecture and experiential exercises to create an engaging and dynamic learning experience for participants. CE Information: Becca Odom Wellness, Provider #1955, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 4/16/2024-4/16/2025. Social workers completing this course receive 2 Ethics continuing education credits.
