This Level 1: Ethics of Trauma-Informed Care training will support therapists in applying a trauma-informed approach to navigating both personal and professional life challenges.

This course will provide tools to manage stress, prevent burnout and increase focus in our daily life, reducing the risk of secondary trauma.

​Participants will leave with simple effective interventions to create safety and trust with clients so they can lead their agency, unit or team toward becoming a more trauma-informed organization.

Becca Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in the mental health and wellness field. Becca specializes in combining Somatic Approaches with EMDR for trauma recovery.

​She primarily works with women who have experienced trauma, chronic stress and anxiety. Her passion is to empower others to heal themselves and she specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery and stress management. 

She is trained in EMDR, Community Resiliency Model (CRM), Mindful Schools, Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and has her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification. ​

When was this course created?
This course was originally created in March 2022, is reviewed and revised as needed every 6 months. The last revision was October 2023. 
what are the course completion requirements? 
To earn CE credits, participants must complete the entire course, complete the posttest, and complete the course evaluation. Participants must achieve a score of 80% or above, and will have up to 3 time to achieve this required score to receive the CE certificate.

Certificates are automatically available immediately on the training platform once the above requirements are met.
