EMDR Therapy & Somatic Therapy in Arkansas & North Carolina

Trauma Healing, Anxiety Relief & Stress Management

Finding the right therapist matters. If you’re searching for EMDR therapy or Somatic Therapy, you’re likely looking for more than just someone to talk to—you’re looking for real, lasting change.

You deserve to feel safe, understood, and supported as you work through trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress. This page is here to help you decide if this approach feels like the right fit for you.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher, specializing in trauma recovery, anxiety, and stress management using EMDR therapy and Somatic Therapy in Northwest Arkansas and North Carolina.

A Holistic Approach to Trauma Therapy

Many people come to me after trying traditional talk therapy and still feeling stuck. That’s because trauma and stress don’t just affect your thoughts—they impact your nervous system and body.

As a provider of Somatic Therapy in Northwest Arkansas, I integrate body-based practices with evidence-based methods like EMDR to support deeper healing.

In our work together, I combine:

  • EMDR therapy to help your brain reprocess and release past traumatic experiences
  • Somatic (body-based) Therapy to regulate your nervous system
  • Mindfulness and Breathwork techniques for real-life stress and anxiety tools

This approach helps you move beyond understanding your experiences—to actually feeling more calm, grounded, and connected to your body.

What Sessions Feel Like

Clients often describe our work as collaborative, grounding, and compassionate. My style is warm and heart-centered, while helping you stay focused on meaningful, lasting change.

Sessions may include:

  • Talk therapy to explore your experiences
  • Somatic awareness to understand how stress shows up in your body
  • Nervous system regulation tools you can use daily
  • EMDR therapy sessions to reprocess challenging past experiences and create new belief systems based on those experiences

You won’t just talk about change—you’ll build the capacity to live it.

What I Help With

I work with adults across Arkansas and North Carolina who are ready to move beyond survival mode and feel more at ease in their daily lives.

Common areas we focus on:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety and chronic stress
  • Burnout and overwhelm
  • Life transitions
  • Self-esteem and relationship patterns

If you’re searching for trauma therapy in Arkansas or North Carolina, this work is designed to help you heal at both the mind and body level.

The EMDR & Somatic Healing Process

As part of my work offering EMDR therapy and Somatic Therapy, I follow a structured, supportive model so you feel safe throughout the process.

Stage 1: Stabilization & Skill-Building
We develop tools to regulate your nervous system, reduce anxiety, and create a sense of safety in your body.

Stage 2: Trauma Processing (EMDR)
We use EMDR and Somatic Therapy to help your brain reprocess past experiences so they feel less overwhelming and create more positive belief systems.

Stage 3: Integration & Growth
We strengthen these new beliefs, positive emotional patterns, and ways of relating with ourselves and others so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

My Intention for Our Work

My goal is to help you feel more connected—to yourself, your body, and your life.

Through Somatic Therapy and EMDR, we focus on:

  • Building awareness of your internal experiences
  • Developing tools to regulate stress and anxiety
  • Increasing resilience and emotional capacity
  • Creating lasting, sustainable change

Healing isn’t just about insight—it’s about how you feel and function in your everyday life.
