Burnout and Trauma Recovery is a live virtual training designed to help professionals who are navigating burnout and/or the affects of secondary trauma in an experiential way.Â
Burnout and secondary trauma don’t just impact your mind—they live in the body. This course offers a somatic trauma–informed understanding of how chronic stress, exposure to secondary trauma, and burnout impact our daily life.Â
In this training, you’ll learn practical somatic practices to bring into your daily life to reduce the affects of burnout and manage stress.
We will explore ways to restore regulation after a crisis, reconnect with your internal resources, and create boundaries that navigate common power dynamics.Â
This 3-hour live virtual training provides 3 Continuing Education (CE) credits and blends theory with practical, body-based tools you can integrate immediately into your personal and professional life.

CE Information:Â Becca Odom Wellness, Provider #1955, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 4/16/2025-4/16/2028. Becca Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in the mental health and wellness field. Becca specializes in combining Somatic Approaches with EMDR for trauma recovery.
​She primarily works with women who have experienced trauma, chronic stress and anxiety. Her passion is to empower others to heal themselves and she specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery and stress management.Â
She is trained in EMDR, Community Resiliency Model (CRM), Mindful Schools, Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and has her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification.Â

- Â Identify and describe how trauma exposure and chronic stress impact brain function and nervous system regulation, including implications for burnout and secondary traumatic stress.
- Apply somatic-based regulation techniques to support nervous system stabilization, facilitate stress recovery, and manage burnout symptoms in personal and professional contexts.
- Formulate an individualized burnout-prevention plan informed by current neuroscience and principles of somatic self-regulation to support ethical, sustainable professional practice.
