This Level 1 Ethics of Trauma-Informed Care training will support Social Workers in applying a trauma-informed approach to navigate both personal and professional life challenges.
This course will provide tools to manage stress, prevent burnout and increase focus in our daily life, reducing the risk of secondary trauma.
Participants will leave with simple effective interventions to create safety and trust with clients so they can lead their agency, unit or team toward becoming a more trauma-informed organization.

Course Facilitator: Becca Odom LCSW, E-RYT 200
Becca Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in the mental health and wellness field. Becca specializes in combining Somatic Approaches with EMDR for trauma recovery.
She primarily works with women who have experienced trauma, chronic stress and anxiety. Her passion is to empower others to heal themselves and she specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery and stress management.
She is trained in EMDR, Community Resiliency Model (CRM), Mindful Schools, Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and has her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification.
