The Trauma-Informed Body: A Somatic Guide

This is a CE-approved asynchronous self-paced training for therapists to integrate somatic tools into client work for anxiety, trauma, depression, and burnout prevention.

Participants will have access to on-demand videos of the somatic tools for one year to support integration in both personal and professional settings!

What You'll Walk Away With

  • A clear, accessible understanding of how trauma is stored and expressed in the body — and the science behind why somatic approaches work when talk therapy alone often isn't enough
  • The ability to identify the different nervous system states as they show up in session — in your client's body, behavior, voice, and language — and know what to do next
  • A working toolkit of somatic practices for each state, matched to when and how to introduce them, with real case scenario experience to back it up
  • Concrete techniques you can use with clients immediately, no matter your modality or theoretical orientation — plus practices to support your own nervous system too
  • A framework for integrating body-based approaches into your existing clinical work without overhauling everything you already do
  • 4 CE credits and a solid foundation for the next level of somatic training

This course includes:

  • 4 CEs (Becca Odom Wellness is an ACE ASWB Approved Provider #1955)
  • On-demand access for 1 year to training videos of somatic tools for continued integration support.
  • Certificate of Completion
  • Training Manual

This is a self-paced asynchronous training & you will receive a Certificate of Completion immediately after completing all of the training videos and the course evaluation.
